We have reserved a block of rooms at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside. This is a great option for those who want to be near the water and have easy access to San Diego's many activities. The Lafayette Hotel

A relic of bygone glory days when it was among the most happening spots in San Diego, the Lafayette is a funky hotel with mid-century charm and is located near our ceremony and reception sites. It's also just across the street from one of our favorite restaurants: Pomegranate. In order to obtain a fifteen percent discount, please follow these directions:

3) Select your desired dates
4) Select “Enter your access or promotional code”

With the discount applied to the published rates as of June, most rooms range in price from $109 to $126. There are also bungalows with two and three bedrooms available for larger groups. Parking is $12 per night.

We have also secured a (slightly) discounted rate at the Best Western Plus in La Mesa. Although further away from the bustle of Downtown, this location will put you closer to where the wedding party is staying. Parking is free, but be warned: the freeway noise is noticeable. If you call and mention the Halgren and Lipp wedding, you should be able to get a room with one bed for $109 or a room with two beds for $119.
